What is the best way to find information on the interest? Google , Bing, Blekko, or some other tools. What do you do with the information once you have found it? How do you best save this information so you can get updates?

I am buying a new machine. I presently have Office 2010 installed. May I just uninstall the Office 2010 through the Add/Remove programs and then install it on my new machine? I did try a search through Microsoft Help but didn't get a good answer. Perhaps I didn't work at the search hard enough. I will attempt to be at the club's meeting on Feb 8.
